Botanical name: Magnolia champaca
Family: Magnoliaceae
The 50 m-tall magnolia champaca is a sizable evergreen tree. Its trunk has a maximum diameter of 1.9 meters. The tree’s crown is shaped like a narrow umbelli. Flowers range in colour from cream to yellow-orange and have a strong fragrance. They are visible from June to September. Between September and October, the carpels produce two to four seeds.

The champaca is a mythological flower in India and symbolises reincarnation, eternal life, and the disappearance of life and death. It will especially touch your heart, which will open “AS BIG AS THAT!”

COSMETIC USE

As an ingredient in the formulation of your cosmetic preparations: you can directly incorporate champaca absolute at the end of the formula.

For example, in your cosmetic preparations (massage oil, perfume, body care, …): up to 0.2% to 0.5%

 

PERFUME

The champaca has a very powerful floral departure close to Lilac or Jasmine. These complex and floral notes gradually give way to a honeyed, caramelized and almond background.

In addition, you can find the champaca in famous brands: J’adore (Dior) / Champaca absolute (Tom Ford) / Euphoria (Calvin Klein)

Mixes well with sandalwood, jasmine, vanilla or also rose

CAUTION
