Botanical name: Acacia dealbata

Family: Fabaceae

Also called winter mimosa, it is traditionally native to Australia. The mimosa was imported into France on the Mediterranean coast from Australia in the early nineteenth century by the explorer James Cook. There are more than 1200 species around the world, with various colors and shapes This tree can reach 25 m in height in the wild. Its flowers are in the form of small yellow and silky pompoms 5 mm in diameter. It symbolizes magnificence, elegance, tenderness and also delivers a message of friendship. In dreams, the mimosa is a sign of safety.
