Our solid shampoo for normal hair is delicately perfumed with Scots pine. It is manufactured by hand in France. You will be surprised to find out that, thanks to its composition, your hair will not become greasy as quickly as with a normal shampoo.

Composition

Ingredients: Sodium cocoyl isethioniate, kaolinite, stearic acid, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil*, coconut fatty acid, aqua, montmorillonite, decyl glucoside, lauryl glucoside, sodium isethionate, glycerin*, pinus sylvestris leaf oil*, limonene (essential oil component)

Decyl glucoside, lauryl glucoside: gentle surfactant derived from coconut. Allows cleansing and lathering.

Sodium cocoyl isethionate, sodium isethionate: Other surfactant derived from coconut, produces a gentle and creamy lather.

Cocos nucifera oil*: Coconut oil that will nourish your hair.

Stearic acid: Derived from olive oil, it will solidify the shampoo.

Glycerine*: Glycerine derived from organic karanja, moisturising, it nourishes hair.

Pinus sylvestris leaf oil*: Scotch Pine EO purifies and relaxes.

Limonene*: Component of Scotch Pine EO that has to be stated on the label

Montmorillonite: Green clay, absorbing and soothing

Kaolinite: White clay, gentle beauty care renown for its purifying and sanitising properties.

Usage

Just rub your fluted stick on very wet hair, it will immediately transform into an unctuous foam. Then, massage the hair. After that, rinse thoroughly as you would for your liquid shampoo!

How do I keep my solid shampoo between two usages?

Think of your solid shampoo as if it were a bar of toilet soap. You can leave it on a saucer on the side of the bath or also next to your normal soap in the shower. It is antibacterial so it cannot be dirty! But, personally, I keep it in a washing net, hanging on the same hook as my konjac sponge. That way it dries easily.

 

How do I carry my solid shampoo when I take it to the gym or on holidays?

An empty face cream jar or an old yoghurt container closed with a piece of cloth and an elastic band is just the trick! When I know that the shampoo will not have had time to dry before going into my toiletry bag, like after a session at the gym, I like to put it in a washcloth. That way it remains aerated and can slowly go solid again.

 

Can I use my solid shampoo when going hiking?

As you read above, 100% of the ingredients that make it are natural. May they be vegetables or minerals, they come from nature. You can, therefore, use your solid shampoo on the top of a mountain or even in a river, you will create no pollution.
