Suitable for new or existing grout.<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<h4>Limitations<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Grout Colorant is not recommended for use underwater in pools, ponds, or areas subject to hydrostatic pressure<\/li>\n<li>Do not use solvent-based cleaners on recoloured grout joints<\/li>\n<li>Previously applied sealers, with the exception of\u00a0Aqua Mix\u00ae Penetrating Sealer,\u00a0Aqua Mix\u00ae Grout Sealer,\u00a0Aqua Mix\u00ae Pro-Solv,\u00a0Aqua Mix\u00ae Ultra-Solv\u00ae\u00a0or\u00a0Aqua Mix\u00ae Sealer\u2019s Choice\u00ae Gold, must be removed to provide a bondable surface.\u00a0Aqua Mix\u00ae Sealer &amp; Coating Remover\u00a0is recommended for this procedure<\/li>\n<li>Porous tile may require sealing to ensure colourant is not absorbed into the tile<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h4>General Surface Prep<\/h4>\n<p>Test a small area according to application instructions, with a\u00a0minimum 1-hour cure time to determine desired results. The Grout must be dry prior to applying Grout Colorant\u00a0\u2013 the following\u00a0document explains in detail the definition of the term \u201cdry\u201d as it relates to Colorant\u00a0application.<\/p>\n<h4>Application of Product<\/h4>\n<p>USE CHEMICAL-RESISTANT GLOVES, such as nitrile, when handling products. Read the entire label before using. SHAKE WELL before using. For new installations, Grout Colorant can be applied a minimum of 48 hours after grouting depending on site conditions and ambient temperature. Spread evenly using the Applicator Brush or toothbrush, working Grout Colorant into the joint using a back-and-forth motion. Thin, even coats should be applied, limiting the amount of Grout Colorant that gets on the tile. If going from a dark to light grout colour, more than 1 application may be necessary with a minimum 2-hour drying time between coats. After the Grout Colorant has dried 1 or more hours (never more than 12 hours), lightly mist the surface with water and let stand 5 minutes.
